It's still a little nippy-  OKAY, it's freezing around here.  Most states north of us have snow.  The only reason we don't have snow is because mother nature is saving it for when it can ICE instead.  We never do things half way here.  Snow?  Heck no-  ICE AND SNOW.  Okay, if you can't tell, I was raised in Arizona with a lot of sun and heat.  No snow, no ice.... and no combination of either of those.  It's alright, I am sure I will get used to. I have been here for 20 years. I am sure after another 20 years, I will grow used to the cold. Until then, I will just have cute kits that talk about the cold :) 

I survived. That is now my mantra. I made it through Christmas, New Years, my daughters wedding, and TA-DAH my sanity is partially intact.  I didn't stop creating, I kind of just stopped posting about it cause I ran out of time.  SO, you can take a peek back and see all the fun stuff I worked on in my store. 

Since we started a new year, it is time to start a new year in review, starting with January. This came out 2 weeks ago.  (I don't want you to get to far behind!)



This year, my goal is to start working on some printables for those who do planners.  I know, I know, I am behind the times. I am trying to catch up, though ;)

Can you believe we have slid into August?  Get ready, because in another month we will start prepping for the holidays, and as soon as one of those hits, BAMMM it's Christmas time.  Just thinking about it makes me tired!  Anyway, this months review it kit is a little more scholarly.

   Well, this week I have a couple of kits that I had worked on.  First off is Summer Loving. Seriously, right in the middle of the summer, and all I can think of is SWIMMING and pools.
   Even more importantly though, I have a kit called Diabetes 101.  My son was diagnosed over 3 years ago, after going into ketoacidosis, a very frightening and dangerous side effect of long term high blood sugars.  Some of the symptoms that we missed, due to hot weather, were constant drinking, and having to use the bathroom literally every 20 minutes.  He also lost a TON of weight.  Why do I mention this?  So you are aware if you see the symptoms in someone you love.  All it takes is a quick blood glucose check if you are concerned about a loved one.  I did not know the symptoms then, but I do now, and I pass the information on in hopes that it may help another parent avoid a dangerous situation.  Okay, PSA over :)  Diabetes 101 is about all the little things that are now a part of our life.

This weekend is going to be a very noisy one. We have family, birthdays, and a holiday to celebrate.  Lots of people, food, and noise headed out way.  In happy news, I am slightly ahead of the game, and finished my Review It- July.  Not sure how we made it half way through the year, but here we are!

Wow, that awkward moment when you realize life ran away without you!  Last week, we traveled 18 hours to visit with family for a week.  What a beautiful week it was, reconnecting with family again.  We made it home safely, and I think it has taken me a week just to recover from vacation!  I have 2 new kits up this week, along with some edges to coordinate.  They are all 40% off this week, for the Easter weekend.  Wishing you all a very blessed Easter!
