This time of year always ends up busier than ALMOST any other.  This year, we had 2 graduating from college, 1 graduating from high school, and we have had 4 birthdays.  That number will jump to 7 total birthdays, two weeks from now.  I would like to say that everything has been accomplished to my satisfaction, but that would be a laugh :)  I survived. I think that is going to be my new word.  SURVIVE.

This time of year is also about Father's.  Yes, we have father's day coming up.  I might celebrate this whole month on men. Especially since I don't have many masculine kits in my store.  Sorry for that :)

Yes, before someone starts shouting that I have butchered the spelling of the word beautiful, YES, I KNOW IT.  Yes I am a horrible person who should be flogged for ruining small children.  Now we all know that, this kit is obviously about.... BEE's :)  hahah, Okay, maybe I added some words regarding traits that make us beautiful.  OH wait, that would be in the full size kit coming out about next week. Or maybe I will put it in a grab bag coming out for pirate week.  EEK!  So much to do. So just the mini kit this week for the Piece Wrapping Challenge.

Just a heads up... it is all Shutterfly's fault. They posted a coupon code for a free photobook.  So, I have been busting my butt  trying to finish up the first part of my oldest son's book.  I will resurface soon.  I recommend signing up for their newsletter.  They send out awesome codes for free books.  That keeps me scrapping on schedule, cough cough, or at least gives me a deadline :)

Thank you for all the birthday wishes.  I had a wonderful time and ended up getting a Silhouette Cameo as my present (it is also my anniversary present, and Christmas present, and...)  Maybe I will start working on some cutting files as well.

Yes, I pulled out my watercolors to do this :)  I am thinking of working more with watercolors over the next little bit.  We'll see how it goes.

Doesn't my post title sound FUN!  Spring AND a freebie, what more could a girl want, besides money, chocolate, a great figure.... ahem.  New releases are up with me being two steps behind as usual.

First off, I have to tell you, I saw this picture series of a kitchen on a cruise ship.  They had all the chefs preparing and the pictures were amazing.  I sat and thought, "You know, that's kind of how it feels at my house preparing dinner for 16 people."  The large pots, the massive amounts of food.  One day I may take pictures here at the casa of our prep for meals.  That would require me to decorate my house so that it looks pinterest ready. LOL  It may be awhile.
