Did you survive Christmas?  We sure did at our house. This year we decided that maybe Santa was becoming predictable.  With older kids in the house as well as middle, and younger, we tried to figure out how to do a little more "fun".  So, it turned into a scavenger hunt.  Santa gave everyone coal (chocolate coal) and one note with a riddle on where to find the next set of presents.  At the designated spot, the kids had one present each, and in one of those presents was the next "note".  This went for 4-5 stops until they reached the coveted "family gift".  On a scale of 1-10 this was probably a 10.  In terms of effort and work, it took more than I thought it would.  The kids were sure to point out that our rhyming was lacking. Oddly enough, after we had planned it out, I saw that someone had posted their own Santa Scavenger hunt on pinterest.  Ahh the time I could have saved myself!



Now on with the new stuff.  By the way, I have high hopes of actually scrapping this year. I have spent so much time with family medical things, designing, crazy life stuff, that I haven't done much in the way of scrapping :)  New goals, right?
